Sunrise, Glenton, Aberdeenshire

One for my followers and subscribers out there who particularly appreciate my panoramic landscapes! This sunrise was taken from the tiny hamlet of Glenton, spread out approximately midway along the Lord's Throat Road that follows the River Don for several miles as it threads its way between the massifs of Bennachie to the north and Pitfichie / Carn William to the south.

From a technical point of view, each of the 'panoramic' views I have blipped here has been cropped from a single wide-angle photograph; the quality, detail and sharpness of the resulting crops are due to the superb Leica optics of the Panasonic DMC-LX3 that I use.
