The Buying Gutter

The Buying Gutter ("Koopgoot") is the slang name for this sunken shopping area. In the next weeks it will be flooded by shoppers. No crisis will stop them.

Took this image just before meeting Antoine from Rwanda, one of my collegue students a year ago, who returned to the Netherlands for a job. To Rotterdam, to be precise. It was very nice meeting him again and being able to catch up.
