Meet the Neighbours

We (myself and husband) are blow ins. This means we moved into an area to live, to which we had no connections. We have been here twelve years but we are, and always will be, blow ins.
Anyway, these are our neighbours and, on account of our families not living near by, our children only have long distance grand parents. These are our children's adoptive grandparents. It's not that they don't have grand children of their own, it's just that they have four extra. Ours would spend all day and every weekend down there if they could. There are always homemade apple pies to be had and fresh, brown soda bread. (plus ice pops and biscuits). U is also great for assistance and inspiration with all things sewing and knitting.

The giant, green exercise ball was a great source of bouncing and fun this evening. A pair of 1980's roller blades was also involved, I don't know how anybody stayed upright.
