...and the ever so slightly more experienced!

Pharonic race today. Another long (taxis at 2.30am long), but thoroughly rewarding 'team event' day. Finished second overall, behind the gentlemen to my left. Being an older bunch, I assumed they'd slow the good pace that they set early on. This didn't happen. They got stronger. Much stronger! One of them had legs like a fucking rhino!

Finished in an overall time of 7.38 hours, making last years 7.00hours - our winning team of 4 - look even more impressive....

Was bloody chuffed with my own contribution, to be honest.

Leg 2) 22.36 mins - 5.3km
Leg 3) 21.58 mins - 4.84 km
Leg 4) 21.08 mins - 4.7 km

Can't complain really. Now, back to that lovely marathon build up!
