This year's top fungus find so far

It's my first diary entry so I really wanted it to be a good one. Maybe a beautiful picture of my children, looking fabulous and doing something charming together. But Ross shamelessly trumped them with a top mushroom foraging moment and I couldn't leave it out. We've done a bit of mushroom hunting this year, Parasols and Ceps so far; but this is our first Giant Puffball and it's bigger than Nell's head. We had it fried up with olive oil and garlic for dinner and even mushroom-hating Matthew loved it.
