scot's monumental lights...

following on with my sparkly theme... this is the Scott monument, surrounded by the Edinburgh winter fair... I wonder if he's sat there enjoying the sights, or if he feels like he's been invaded by squealing teenagers... anyway much to see this evening... for the full blazing colourful experience here's a few more on flickr, as I was having difficulty choosing...

The evening was full of stories as Dave had been asked to perform at an event at the storytelling centre, called Old Town Tales... it was a tribute evening to John Fee a well loved Edinburgh Artist , Storyteller, and History Teacher....

It was a really enjoyable event, lots of laughs a smattering if wisdom, and some ripping yarns about life in the city... Dave did a grand job I was very proud of him, and the rest of them were great as well

If you've never been to an event a the storytelling centre then you should really go along to one as it's a great space and they do all sorts of different and unusual events including the guid crack club which is held once a month over the road in the Waverly bar....

Anyway, now away to bed...
