Destination of choice?

I am not a keen shopper at the best of times, but I cannot understand why people would choose to go to Tesco's on a Saturday at lunchtime.

Today I had to go because my mum needed an item that is only stocked at the big store in town.

It was seething.
Why would anybody want to spend a large part of the weekend here when there are so many other things to do in life.

The rest of the day was nice.
