Canal Lock

A quick trip in to town to sort out a few bank-related things brought me (more or less as usual) to the banks of the Grand Canal and the stretch from Mount Street to Baggot Street. It's a never-ending source of blip fascination for me, only spoiled by the fact that the light conditions are generally unfavourable because of the time of day I tend to take my trips to the bank. I didn't have much time to spare today (work to get back to, and less than usual cash in the money-grabbing Pay & Display machine), so I just dashed off a handful of shots before heading back.

It's taken several hours to get round to transferring them to my iMac in the hopes that one at least might be blip-worthy. One was. This is it.
