The Last Chaos

Chaos was a long standing nightclub in Southsea, Portsmouth. On it's 20th birthday it drew to a close with a rip-roaring final salute, plenty of spilled beer, old faces and vibrant dancing.

I'm sure it will make a comeback for special occasions, and for many years it was a regular social event in my calendar - a place where the freaky dressers and oddballs could get together and let loose.

I admit to being too drunk to take many photos this time, far too busy dancing with abandon to Carter USM, The Wedding Present and the KLF but I at least managed one that captured part of the vibrancy of the night.
