Elliot and Roobs -"King and Queen of Scotland

This weekend all castles in Scotland are free to the public.
So we took Roobs, our Palestinian student visitor to Stirling Castle. It was her first Scottish castle and they say that if you are only going to see one castle in Scotland then make it Stirling.

The Great Hall has two thrones, one for the King and the other for the Queen of Scotland and they are the most popular photographic spots for visitors.

So Roobs sat herself on the Queens throne when 8-year-old Elliot Macrae from Monifieth, Angus, suddenly joined her.

"You are my King," said Roobs.

"No," said Elliot
" I am Wallace."
