Jupiter

We went to see the grand switch on of the Christmas Lights. I have to admit to being a little disappointed, especially after the amazing extravaganza that was Durham's Lumiere Festival.

We walked the dogs round the block and I stopped to see if I could get a Jupiter picture with my 70mm lens - and I think it worked quite well!

I can definitely see a goodly number of moons too. Io, Ganymede, Europa and Callisto are the biggest there, but there are a few more in my picture too!!!

Jupiters moons are my favourite - too much reading pulp sci-fi when I was a little girl!!!
