'Allo, 'Allo, 'Allo!

What a day!

We decided to go to London today and visit Harrods, to show the kids the wonders of the Christmas shop there. Well it was amazing and they did love it but my goodness, it was so incredibly busy. We knew it would be but weren't expecting it to be so crammed with people, jostling this way and that. I would have loved to have got some pics of the displays but there was just no way, especially trying to keep hold of the kids. We did go up to the toy department which was a much better experience. They were in awe but behaved impeccably and were a real delight. My blip is them with one of their giant teddy bears. Probably not my best photo from the day ( I might put one or two of the other in my blipfolio) but one of the best memories.

After all that chaos we decided to get some air and wandered from Harrods up to Hyde Park Corner, through Marble Arch and along Constitution Hill and The Mall, back to Charing Cross Station - about 2 miles on top of all the walking around Harrods. We were all pleasantly exhausted but had had a wonderful time. The kids stayed in high spirits for the journey home, dinnertime and bathtime. They've gone to bed tired and content with their new Harrods cuddly toys :0)
