Fishbowl installation

Blackfish artists Carol Benson and Michael Knutson hanging dolls they made from clothespins in the Blackfish Gallery window.
Carol writes:
The figures are Christmas tree ornaments that we've made over the past 30 years. Some of them represent our children at different times; for instance, our son in his Boy Scout uniform and our daughter in the costume she wore in The Nutcracker. Other figures are their favorite super heroes or book characters. I started making the simple figures--soldiers, angels, clowns--to use for gifts when we were first married and couldn't afford to buy presents for our relatives.
