The Gas Man

Do you smell gas? This is the chap for you. I'm not sure about the cigarette, though......I think he was on his tea break.

We took a walk to the Post Office to post some parcels and on the way I spotted the 'National Grid' vans and the gas men down a couple of holes in the pavement. On the way back I snapped a picture of the hole and paraphernalia, there were some gas masks on the hole protective fencing which looked good. This gentleman gave a big grin and said 'Do you want to take my photo?', and he struck a Brucie (Forsyth) type pose. By the time I pressed the shutter he'd reverted to the grin.

Thank you, Mr Gas Man.

I wouldn't have had the nerve to ask to take his photo, though.
