Floods in Bridge- of- Allan

We have had the most torrential rain for a long time today and the river Allan was in flood. Huge branches were seen being carried downstream .

And the back road into Stirling, through Cornton, was sealed off because the area was totally flooded and all traffic diverted.


Yesterday our Palestinian visitor was telling us that such is the water shortage back home in the Middle East that her parents have to buy all their water .
