Regeneration

This blip captures nature's remarkable ability to regenerate. These bold, lime green shoots are on an ancient Mediterranean cork oak. Nearly three months ago thousands of trees around where we live were engulfed by fire (you can see my blog entry on it here), yet many have remarkable survived. I did a post fire blog entry here.
Not the most exciting photo possibly, but it's an amazing sight for me. When one sees the whole mountainside coming back to life it's just amazing...
