Proust (+Pierogies and Strikes)

Proust was born in this house on rue Lafontaine. I walked by it today on my way to the Russian food store. Unlike in Canada, pierogies are not widely available here and the girls have been wanting some. The specialty Russian food store seems to be the only place you can find them.

I rode the 62 bus out to the Bibliothèque Marguerite Durand this afternoon only to find they were closed for a one-day, unannounced strike.
