Number 8

When I played rugby, I wore the no. 8 shirt.

Today was a very happy, slightly adolescent but rewarding day with players and coaches at Franklin's Gardens, the home of Northampton Saints.

I'm sitting in the seat formerly occupied by the mighty Captain Tim Rodber, former British Army officer and one of the great Saints, England and British Lions no. 8s.

Can't help the cheesy grin...
