School chickens

Strike day or not, most of the support staff were in work today. Mainly for the same reason.... we can't afford to lose a day's pay at this time of year.

It did mean that Claire had to come with me as Mr G is away.

Poor Claire, very sore throat and the only kid in school.

I'd bought her a DVD to watch and she had her book to read, but she needed out to get some fresh air. She took this picture of the school chickens when she had tempted them with some corn.
