Kidnapped

Morning all,

A blip for all would be, up and coming or in need of inspiration writers.

This is the Hawes in in South Queensferry. This town takes it name from St. Margaret of Scotland (Queen) who started up a ferry to cross the Forth for pilgrims heading to St. Andrews. When she died, she made the crossing by ferry to Dunfermline Abbey where she was buried.

For inspiration, you stay at the Hawes Inn. The Hawes Inn, which dates back to 17th century, was an inspiration for Edinburgh author Robert Louis Stevenson when in 1886, while staying in Room 13, he came up with the idea for 'Kidnapped'. The hero of the book also stays at the inn. Walter Scott described the Hawes Inn in his novel Antiquary.

What better company could you have !!! ;0)

The Inn was also once a hospital for the 160 plus workers injured while building on the Forth Rail Bridge. So would be Doctors and nurses....on you come too.........or you could just get a room and play at........oops sorry......imagination getting the better of me.
Told you.......inspirational !!! ;0)

Have a great day ;0)

TTFN ;0)
