Still

enjoying playing with my new macro lens.

Just in from the morale-boosting Christmas Concert - suddenly the world is making mince pies, hanging out tinsel, putting up trees and counting the days until the 25th. The bathroom plant is about to burst into flower - I think it's been sitting quietly for seven or eight years, so why it loves this autumn is a mystery. Climatic issues, perhaps.

Yesterday I had time to get to the sawmill to fetch firewood, as well as a 5 mile jog - a road test for a 10 k (6 mile) event on Sunday.

Oh, and quite a lot of work going on, but you don't want to know about end of term reports, holiday revision work, and why half of year 10 needed a little pep talk from the Deputy Head. Is it always year 10 ?
