A wave from the boss

Went down into Inverness to welcome the Highlanders 4th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland as they paraded through the town after a tour in Afghanistan. Stood at the top of Academy Street as they marched up and then swung into Inglis Street. Was thinking of blipping a shot of the Colours as they passed the end of Baron Taylor Street, but after the parade had passed I dashed along the street to catch the tail end as they passed the Town House. A large welcoming crowd in spite of being a cold day. Three fire engines parked in Bridge Street with a line of firemen standing to attention although by the time I got to a suitable position they were just starting to break up. Ended up with some shots of the official party and this one of the Provost of Inverness waving seemingly at me - but really for the many cameras.
