Homecoming

In town today to pick up my new glasses. I was sitting waiting for them when a Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland passed on their return from Afghanistan. I headed up to the Caslte afterwards, and managed to get there ahead of them as they went round by the river. A rousing reception from the crowds who gathered - applause, and some loud cheering too. Quite a sight with some 300+ soldiers marching.

I did capture a saltire amongst the crowds, but I haven't been able to get theworldover uploader to work today, and I prefer this pic anyway. It's here if you're interested. :)
