Panda Express

There's been a lot of criticism of this venture, but I couldn't help feeling excited that two of these amazing animals were coming to live in our city, arriving today. The BBC said that their special charter plane was going to land just after 1pm, so I stood at the window to see if I could see their plane on its approach to Edinburgh airport. I got reasonably clear shots of a couple of preceding planes that turned out to be....Ryanair. :-(

This one was further away and soon vanished behind the rooftops so I only had a couple of shots at it. The pandas were being transported by FedeX, whose logo is just about discernible, so I think this was the Panda Express plane. :-)
