Gallery of light

We spent much of the afternoon in the refurbished National Museum of Scotland.

There is much to interest any visitor in any of the galleries, and as ever the more you invest, the more you get out of the displays. But the main hall now glows with the light pouring in from the roof and the side windows, making it a really beautiful space to start your visit. Or to end it with coffee and cake.
