Winter arrives...

Today the temperature dropped and the snow arrived. The raw wind felt alien and almost exhilarating after weeks of mild weather. The roads are a revolting mix of flood water, frozen slush and black ice. If only I could stay at home and enjoy the season, rather than stressing over the daily commute... our lives seem to be forever at odds with the natural world.
This is Criffel, sporting its seasonal white cap of snow.
