The cybermen are here ....

.... okay, maybe not the ones from Doctor Who, but these were rather interesting. Lazy morning with a trip to the park near Shooters Hill and then through Woolwich Arsenal to the river. Wandering through a new development we came across these statues. Wish we had something different like this in Eastbourne.

In 37 years this was my first trip on a boat along the Thames, we were being real tourists. I was busy snapping away at everything along the river and was spoilt for choice on photos, but decided to use something out of the ordinary. Must do it again soon, we don't go to London enough and there is so much to see.

Was a lovely sunny day and after a train journey home we finished it off with a triple scoop ice cream on the seafront - heaven!!!
