detail: koru/tussock

The koru is a symbol of new life, strength and peace normally associated with fern fronds but the tip of this tussock grass in my front yard was curling in just the right way...

Nicely symbolic in a way as today was the first day back for my students for the year. Am surprised I could lift a camera still after it all but it was actually quite nice (somehow I forget between times how nice it can be) to wind down by seeking out an image.
