Nosey neighbour

A run past the London Zoo is always lovely, primarily because there aren't many place in the world where you can see penguins, zebras, okapi, reindeer and giraffes on your route. This morning I looked at the giraffe house and just saw one of its occupants having a nose at the outside world through the tiny window. It made me feel very sad in lots of ways; I imagined him to be forlorn and contemplative. But maybe he was just waiting for the Ocado van to turn up.
