The Pleiades

Continuing to be inspired by Nesssaintee's astronomical efforts, I took this picture of the Pleiades. This is also known as the Seven Sisters, and was number 45 in Messier's catalogue.

Take the distance between the Moon and Jupiter (it's the really bright star just to the left of the moon). Move double that width to the left and then look slightly above it. If you're lucky enough to have a pair of binoculars, this has to be one of the most spectacular sights in the sky
