Birthday Lunch with Steven

Birthday lunch with Stevie was fab, despite the fact Frankie & Benny were a figment of somebody's imagination & in spite of the restaurant being full of approximately 30 young children at a birthday party.
Watching those all those young children made me wonder how my own little ray of sunshine became the tall, handsome, often grumpy, 29 year old man sitting to my left?? He towers over me by at least a foot & often seems more 'grown up' than me. The years flew by so quickly..... Still, my Dad refused to grow up & never lost his twinkle in his eyes. I'm thinking the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!
