Strange Place for a lighthouse

When I was growing up I always thought this was a lighthouse and also thought it was a very strange place to have one. It turns out it was the storeroom for the Northern Lighthouse board. They used to test the lights here before shipping them out. It was also used for training. The building was built in the 1870's and the Northern Lighthouse Board moved out in the 1970's. I really don't know who owns it now. An unusual building though.
