taiwan sandwich

this photo was taken during my international relations class. the topic of the day was "The Taiwan Issue and U.S. - China Relations." ironically, I was sitting in between the only two taiwanese-americans in the class, and even more satirical was the fact that one of my taiwanese-american friends had just arrived back in shanghai after spending the weekend in taiwan! he brought back fenglisu for all of his friends aka the treat leaning against my pencil case in this picture~
