timing is everything

8:30pm, doing a few dishes.

It's been a funny old day.

Got the weeWeir up, clothed, fed and into nursery bang on time, then off to a (reasonably) local school for what may be my last Job Applications workshop. If I don't get to deliver any more (time is a precious commodity that theEmployer might not want to give away quite so regularly) then I will miss the opportunity of speaking to young people about the real life world of work.

Anyway, today's class time was cut short by the previous assembly running over. By 18 minutes. Cutting my time down from 45 to 22 minutes. Which isn't ideal when the workshop really needs 55 to be run fully.

So we got through some of the material. A bit of help from the class teacher. And a very nice compliment too.

Biggest thing was to remain calm and carry on. Which is what mostly happened.

Home via the bank - who knew it will be four working days until a cheque clears. Talk about a poor service...

Worked at home on a few things - some designs, some words and crucially, starting to prepare for my end-of-year review with newBoss. newBoss isn't like oldBoss. And definitely not like previousoldBoss. Not really sure what to expect, so I am starting to prepare early. The intention is to have a good story to tell.

It might not be about me, but as long as it's an entertaining conversation, then that's all fine and dandy, right ;->

Got the last of the video pre-edit work done, and imported into iMovie ready for tomorrow's editing goodness.

And made a wee flyer for KCC too. That's a good use of time, apparently.
