Pearl Barbor Remembrance Day

This memory box showcases my late Father-in-Law.

He was one of the lucky ones who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor.
My Mother-in-Law had to wait several months to find out whether he was alive or not.
She got a standardized Red Cross postcard on which he could check boxes and nothing more.
The postcard boxes he checked were:
I am alive.
I am not injured.
I love you.
