Grotty

This is about as grotty as it gets in Blackheath (which is to say, not very).
There are a few tags around, but this bear is the first stencil graffiti I've seen.
It's on a small building between the highway and the railway line and once had a life. It is owned by State Rail and is no longer tenanted.
In fact, it was a charming framing and print shop. People often strolled in to chat with the owner, a friend, who, sadly, has since died.
Several years ago I took a photo of Doli, who quickly learned the ropes and framed up a storm. If you're interested to see both the the shop and Doli in happier times, go here.
Doli is on the left.
