A seasider's view

A Monet in a puddle

Taken this morning, when it was still pitch dark at half-eight. It's some of the Christmas lights on George Square, reflected in a puddle, and looking (a little) like a Monet. If you half close your eyes....

What a day. Window blown in at work. Masonry tumbled into my flat's road, thereby closing it. And the biggest waves I've seen racing to the shore - sorry, no blip of them, just too risky being out with Shortie, doesn't have the same bulk as her mother to weigh her down :o)

There's a cracking photo on the BBC Scotland pages showing one of the wind turbines at the Ardrossan windfarm catching light - image 13 if you want a gander.

Happy birthday Mum! A day to remember...?!
