Long Valley Church

This church sits on the hillside about 300 yards above the cemetery.
When the sun catches it at this time of year it is quite spectacular and you can see it from miles around.
Amazingly, about 3 hours before I took this shot there was snow on the ground.
So much rain recently, that I sank up to my ankles on the grass.
All the local streams are now torrents and there are ponds where there are never ponds.....
But for today, the sun came out eventually.
