We finally got the electrician round to do the odd jobs that have been building up and holding back some progress.

We're now proud owners of this quite attractive working fitting in the dining room (not permanent but free on freecycle) and two of the several hideous strip lights have been relegated to the loft where harsh lighting actually comes on handy.

Now we can finally get on with the job of flooring the loft and clearing the guest room for J and C's Christmas stay - woo hoo!
