Canal

Woke up to snow. Not the lovely, Christmas variety, nope. The wet and slushy variety. Managed to avoid town (& the opening of the "so cheap it hurts" store). Managed to get what I had set out for. Managed to bump into friends. Managed to stay upright.

The canal had started to freeze over. But its heart wasn't really in it.
