Now that things have settled down we've managed to concentrate in the garden again.
Indoors things are coming on a treat.
Today we picked our first cucumber. We've not eaten any fresh since last year so it's a bit of a treat.
Picked our first French beans.
The Sweet Corn is starting to flower
Basil is coming on - should be able to start the pesto making next week.
Chilli's and peppers are starting to produce fruit.
Tomatoes are producing the fourth level but no sign of the first fruits changing colour yet.
Aubergine still at the flowering stage so I don't think we'll get a lot off them this year.
Courgettes will be picking next week.
Outdoors a different story.
Courgettes have had a disaster. We covered them up three nights ago and I think the sun burned them in the morning. So although we can pick some this weekend we'll have to wait to see if the recover their vigour.
Onions are looking very weak.
Lettuce and leeks are coming on nicely. We've been eating the outdoor lettuce for around a fortnight now
