More than a bit of emergency blip about this as strong storms kept us house bound in Rio today and our final Christmas on-line shopping took longer than expected, especially the presents we are sending on behalf of my Mum.

Still, DD and I worked through the list patiently and made a few calls here and there to check if different books were already on people's shelves; not directly to the recipients, of course!

On the snail mail front our letters and boxes have arrived at all points north, so our 'blended' approach to Christmas seems to have worked!

These are wooden pencil cases that decorate one of our shelves in the studio; wonder if any books will be coming down the chimney before the month is out!
