Danger wet floor

Things have been getting on top of me lately with so much to get done work wise. One thing that has been tipping me over the edge has been to state of our floors, particularly in the dining room and hallway.

I know it shouldn't be a priority but having a home that's confortable and looks reasonably clean is important. Important perhaps not for its own sake but because it becomes an irritation and distraction otherwise - maybe becoming more important than it should be. So the solution is just to get it done before it does my head in.

Warning: sanding floors and varnishing takes more time than you'd imagine, creates mess and makes your back ache. But the results are satisfying.
