Through Jo's Lens

Baxter

Today we've had a visit to Grandma's house...just for an hour or so. She wanted me to photograph the fireplace and email it to a company who will be putting in a new fireplace. The fireplace wasn't too exciting so this is Baxter instead. He's a funny dog. He lived in his new home for quite some weeks before building up the courage to go upstairs or even look through the windows. Now he does both. He has his own little stool that he puts his front paws on so that he can see through the window easier and he barks, loudly, at anyone passing by. He's a gentle giant but he has some strange traits...he is forever looking up to the sky as if he's expecting bombs to drop so I'm sure he has some post traumatic stress syndrome passed down through his doggy genes as the army used Airedales during the wars. He's a pain to photograph too as he moves just as you're ready to push the shutter button. Cute though!
