Wonderland Models on Edinburgh's Lothian Road, a place where time goes all funny...

I walk through the front door as a 45 year old mature(ish) man, and then a strange thing happens: as I start to browse the myriad shelves of Hornby and Scalextric products I can feel my long trousers start to shrink into shorts, my five o'clock shadow disappears and I hear myself making vroom- vroom noises - sometimes out loud!

I've been asked not to go back, or else they'll phone my mum and tell her about my behaviour.
