Under One Roof

Went to see the Under One Roof gig tonight at the O2 in London.

Emeli Sande was phonomenal, and will be huge in 2012 - incredible voice. Tinie Tempah was amazing. Not my kind of music really, but a brilliant set, incredible energy, and the audience loved him!

Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan also appeared, but we'll skim over them.

Coldplay were the headline act, a band I've never seen live before - and they were great! I wish U2 would go back to this kind of gig - just the four of them playing without all the pyrotechnics and expensive sets. That said, massive balloons were released from the ceiling, confetti was fired from huge cannons and the audience was asked to wear special wristbands. These lit up during the set, at different points, giving the effect in the photo - really effective, and quite a Christmassy feel!

All in all, a great night!
