A Fierce Crop

I went back to retry my failed blip from yesterday and, if may be so bold, was successful in this....

But then, as always, whilst walking up North Bridge for a bus I found this. The gloves tell it all, it was cold indeed. He was painting the view out over the old Calton Graveyard, towards the Forth; the colours were wonderful but the camera was set to b/w and the change would have lost the moment...

I have cropped it pretty severely; I think that the loss of context is a shame but it allows a glimpse into his painting. Ah decisions, not my strongest suite.

And yesterday's/ today's blip can wait...
