Christmas Crackered

The mystery is revealed! The contents of the cracker tell the Christmas story by pointing to the three names for the baby in Matthew 1:18-25. Christ means the baby is the king (the party hat is a crown); Jesus means God saves (by his death on the cross); Emmanuel means God is with us (symbolised by a ring showing love and commitment).

This was the only photo I took, despite being at two carol services, one at church (where this talk was given after the nativity) and another in the local Orange Hall.

Another frosty night tonight with slippery byroads as we came home from visiting family this evening.
