Vet's visit

D the vet was called out today to see three of our Hereford cows. One who had latterly calved with a stillborn calf is now showing a cervical abnormality and two others who are lame - probably from their great escape the other morning. I remember seeing two slipping up on the concrete slope.

The first cow will not kept for breeding but will now be fattened up and sold at market in a few week's time. One lame cow had pulled her shoulder and the other had a bad foot but no injections today, just rest.
