Surf skis waiting to get out and amongst it.

Cottesloe Surf Club is one of the oldest surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.

The surf skis are a major part of the clubs activities and are stored in the main surf club boat shed underneath Indiana's restaurant on Marine Parade.

The larger boat labelled Cottesloe is one of the main surf boats which will take some eight fit and strong oarsmen to row through the surf.

The smaller skis are either one or two man skis. They get a real work out each morning when the regulars hit the beach at around 0600hrs summer and winter.

They are all stored upside down to assist the draining out of sea water after a mornings paddle.
